Job Summary
Evaluate, design, implement, and maintain enterprise academic and administrative applications, data governance, and integration services. Manage business continuity, disaster recovery, and security incident response while collaborating on IT strategy, vendor relationships, and continuous improvement initiatives. Lead technical operations for reporting, data analytics, and documentation standards using Java, SQL, and .NET. Ensure data security compliance and drive product management for local and hosted systems. Work within the ITS Enterprise Applications team to support efficient operations and risk management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, OR, equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Two (2) or more years of Object-oriented application programming experience
- Technical writing and documentation standards
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across different levels of the organization
- Commitment to staying updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting IT operations and cybersecurity
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise database design and reporting
- Experience in the following programming languages: Java, SQL, C# python
- Experience integrating on-site and cloud-based software systems, preferably Azure
- Experience managing small to medium sized projects
- Experience with form development and workflows
- Expertise in DevOps Practices
- Expertise in Data Modeling and Database Management (Advanced SQL Skills)
- Expertise in Data Integration and ETL Concepts
- Expertise Data Security and Compliance
- Understanding of Azure Fundamentals, specifically in Azure Data Factory
- Understanding of the Power Platform, specifically Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
- Experience with SSRS reporting
- Experience with .Net, java, and python programming languages
- Experience with project and product management practices and tools
