Job Summary
Assess, document, and maintain the enterprise application portfolio across JM Eagle, Plastpro, and Ascending Eagle. Design and implement enterprise architecture standards, best practices, and modernization strategies. Build APIs, integrations, and scalable services across legacy and modern platforms. Evaluate applications based on business value, technical health, security, and scalability. Lead application modernization initiatives including cloud migration, API enablement, SaaS adoption, refactoring, and application retirement. Develop strategies supporting ERP transformation and enterprise integration. Design AI-ready application and data architectures. Establish architecture governance, documentation standards, and technical review processes. Promote modern software engineering practices including CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automated testing. Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership on enterprise initiatives. Research emerging technologies to improve business agility and reduce technical debt.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Software Engineering, or Application Modernization
- Recent hands-on software development experience within the last 3–5 years
- Proven experience modernizing enterprise applications and legacy technology environments
- Experience supporting ERP implementations and enterprise transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration, application architecture, and software engineering best practices
- Experience supporting enterprise environments across multiple locations
Desired Qualifications
- Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred
