Enterprise Account Executive

Job Summary
Own and grow a strategic territory in Australia as an Enterprise Account Executive, driving value-first sales for Zendesk’s AI-driven Resolution Platform. Lead complex, multi-year deals with enterprise clients, from prospecting and PoC through negotiation and closing. Establish deep executive-level partnerships with VP and C-suite stakeholders, translating capabilities into measurable business outcomes and aligning product and engineering teams to optimize sales execution. Leverage CRM and AI-assisted tools (Salesforce, Clari, internal AI tools) to deliver predictable results, and collaborate across product, engineering, and leadership to scale impact. Emphasizes relationship-building, consultative storytelling, and understanding of SaaS/AI business models to enable customer outcomes and sustainable revenue growth. Maintain a hybrid working approach with in-person collaboration at Zendesk offices while enabling remote work part of the week. Includes awareness of AI-driven screening and compliance within the recruitment process.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in B2B cloud/software sales or solution engineering
- ability to build consultative, high-value business cases
- strong storytelling to translate technical capabilities into strategic business value
- understanding SaaS and AI business models and how to drive revenue
- proven ability to build lasting relationships with executives (VP/C-level) and guide complex negotiations
- experience managing sophisticated sales motions from prospecting to PoC to closing multi-year deals
