Job Summary
Enterprise Account Executive for Washington/SLED focused on new business acquisition in Public Sector (Local Government, Education). Responsible for developing and executing a territory plan, penetrating greenfield accounts, managing entire sales cycles, delivering product demos and trials, negotiating pricing and contracts, and partnering with channel partners to drive deal registrations. Requires regular travel (>50%), experience selling complex technical solutions, and a strong hunter mindset. BS/BA strongly preferred; must live in territory and be able to travel frequently. Target is to achieve quota with net-new logos and expanded channel engagements.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10+ years in quota-carrying software/hardware technology or channel sales with focus on building greenfield territory
- 2+ years selling technical solutions or products to the Public Sector (Local Government, Education) is a plus
- Proven track record in selling complex technical solutions and meeting/quota targets
- Willingness to travel; strong field presence required
- Experience managing longer, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- BS/BA degree strongly preferred
- Ability to develop territory plans, drive net-new logos, and partner with channel sales organizations
- Strong communication skills and ability to present proposals and negotiate contracts
- Experience with MEDDIC methodology is highly preferred
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
