Job Summary
Enterprise Account Executive will own the full enterprise sales cycle for Accrue's wallet platform in payments and loyalty. Responsibilities include prospecting, outreach, discovery, solution design, negotiation, and close; leveraging payments and fintech experience to identify high-value merchant targets; building multi-threaded relationships across merchant organizations including finance, digital, product, and the C-suite; positioning the wallet platform against current payments and loyalty solutions; partnering with leadership to shape go-to-market messaging; maintaining accurate pipeline forecasting in CRM; representing Accrue at payments and fintech events and conferences. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in B2B enterprise sales or business development within card networks, payment processors, or fintech, a track record of winning new logos in complex multi-stakeholder environments, deep understanding of merchant economics and payment infrastructure, ability to position new category products, and strong communication skills for VP- and C-level audiences. Start-up experience is a plus, with experience using HubSpot or similar tools.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B enterprise sales or business development experience, with meaningful time at a card network, payment processor, or fintech vendor
- Track record of winning new logos in a complex, multi-stakeholder sales environment
- Deep understanding of merchant economics, payment infrastructure, and how financial products get evaluated and adopted at enterprise scale
- Ability to position a new category product against established payment and loyalty alternatives
- Excellent communicator, confident presenting to VP- and C-level audiences
- Self-directed and comfortable building without an established playbook
- Start-up experience is a plus
- Experience utilizing tools such as HubSpot and other sales engagement tools to track and maintain business leads
