Job Summary

Enterprise Account Executive for the Houston SLED (Public Sector Local/Education) territory. Drive new business acquisition through full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and product demos to negotiations and closing, with a focus on greenfield opportunities and channel partner collaboration. Develop and implement a comprehensive territory plan, achieve quarterly quota of net new logos, and expand customer base by engaging government and education accounts, leveraging MEDDIC practices where applicable. Expect significant travel (more than 50%), influencing stakeholders across local governments, schools, and districts, and partnering with channel sales to drive deal registrations. Strong emphasis on building relationships, presenting proposals, and delivering accurate revenue forecasts while operating in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years of quota-carrying software/hardware technology or channel sales
  • 2+ years selling technical solutions to the Public Sector (Local Government, Education) is a plus
  • BS/BA degree strongly preferred
  • Must live in territory & willingness to travel
  • hunter sales mentality with prospecting to close new logos
  • experience with MEDDIC is highly preferred
  • comfortable with frequent travel
