Job Summary

As the first dedicated Account Executive in Europe, you will own and close enterprise deals by managing the full sales cycle for key opportunities. Your role includes running highly consultative sales processes, tailoring technical value, expanding accounts, and shaping Elicit's sales approach. A successful candidate will have significant enterprise sales experience, particularly in research-driven domains, and a track record of closing high-value deals while articulating the business value of AI capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience
  • 4-5 years selling into complex, research-driven domains (biotech, pharma, healthcare, or advanced technology)
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota and closing six- and seven-figure enterprise deals
  • Experience navigating long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Fluency in technical conversations to translate product features into business and scientific value
  • Consultative selling expertise to build trust and guide customers through transformational change
  • Curiosity about science and research

Desired Qualifications

  • Background in scientific research, biotech/pharma, or R&D tools
  • Experience selling horizontal SaaS or AI platforms
  • Exposure to product-led growth or hybrid sales motions
  • History of mentoring other sellers or shaping early-stage go-to-market
