Job Summary

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Aiven, you will focus on acquiring new enterprise customers and expanding relationships within existing accounts, particularly within organizations generating over $500M in revenue. The role requires engaging C-level and senior stakeholders, managing complex sales cycles with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, and utilizing a consultative selling approach to solve strategic challenges. Candidates should possess enterprise sales excellence with a minimum of 5 years in enterprise SaaS or cloud infrastructure sales, and demonstrate experience in outcome-focused selling. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with fluency in English and preferably German.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of success in enterprise SaaS or cloud infrastructure sales
  • Proven track record of overachievement against multimillion-dollar targets
  • Experience engaging senior technical (CTO, VP Engineering, Architects) and business leaders
  • Hands-on experience with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC or similar sales frameworks
  • Strong understanding of open-source data infrastructure, cloud services, and developer platforms
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
