ENT Physician (Otologist or Neurotologist)

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive medical services for patients in both practice and hospital settings, including history and physical examinations, routine health maintenance, and management of treatment programs. Initiate treatment via prescriptions, diagnostic tests, and procedures while reviewing lab results to plan appropriate actions. Provide regular communication with referring physicians, patients, and families, participating in education on wellness habits and prevention strategies. Collaborate with nurses, psychologists, and outside agencies to coordinate care and family counseling as needed. Adhere to standardized orders, practice guidelines, and confidentiality policies while maintaining knowledge of current medical practices.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty
- Current or recent experience in area of specialty
- MD or DO - licensed by the state licensure board within the State of practice
- Board Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty by the appropriate medical board
- Ability to sit for up to three (3) hours per day; three (3) hours at a time
- Ability to stand for up to eight (8) hours per day; eight (8) hours at a time
- Ability to walk for up to six (6) hours per day; one (1) hour at a time
- Ability to perform frequent fingering, handling, grasping, twisting, and turning as it relates to therapeutic procedures
- Ability to consistently lift, carry, and push objects up to 10 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, and push objects up to 75 pounds
- Ability to rarely lift with assistance, up to 100 pounds
- Ability to rarely push and pull patients weighing up to 300 pounds in a wheel chair or stretcher
- Ability to occasionally stoop and bend
- Ability to perceive attributes of an object through touch
- Ability to see as it relates to normal near, far, color, and peripheral vision
- Ability to hear as it relates to normal conversation and high and low frequencies
