Job Summary
Conduct French language instruction for Grade 8 and Grade 9 students, implementing Ministry of Education programs that integrate Indigenous learning principles. Foster an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment by collaborating individually with each student to address their specific needs. Work collaboratively with the school community, including special education staff and counselors, while utilizing innovative pedagogical approaches and technological tools to support student success. Deliver one period of French per week under a temporary contract starting September 1, 2026, with a salary range of $63,631 to $116,190 for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Required Qualifications
- Diplôme universitaire d'une université en éducation ou en enseignement
- Certificat d'enseignement décerné par le Teacher Regulation Branch (TRB) ou éligibilité requise
- Maîtrise du français à l'oral et à l'écrit
- Bonne connaissance de l'anglais, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit
