Job Summary
Enrolment Services Advisor supports current and prospective students, applicants, parents, alumni and the public by providing outstanding customer service and detailed information on Northwestern Polytechnic policies and procedures related to admissions, registration, tuition and student fees, financial aid and scholarships, student records and transcripts, exams, and convocation. Responsible for proactive problem solving and discretionary decision-making to resolve student issues, collaborating with the Registrar’s Office, Recruitment, faculty and department staff, and other offices such as the School of Students and the Students’ Association to ensure accurate interpretation and explanation of policies and programs.
Required Qualifications
- Two years post secondary education and six months related experience
- An Office Administration or Business Administration Diploma is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and any student information systems
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- A high level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and accountability
