Job Summary
Enrollment & Eligibility Specialist in the Ryan White department coordinates and completes patients' necessary paperwork for eligibility and social service benefit applications (e.g., SNAP, SSI) to ensure rapid access to resources. Performs Phase I intake assessments for new and returning patients, including social and psychosocial support, while addressing trauma and high-risk issues. Requires ethics and confidentiality, ability to work with diverse clients and teams, and ongoing training on HIV-related treatment needs. Proficient communication and computer skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- 2 to 5 years' experience working with adults in a social-service setting
- Basic understanding of HIV/AIDS
- Willingness to receive regular training on intersectional topics related to PLWH
- Proficiency in the use of computers and computer systems
