Job Summary

Serve as the dedicated data steward and primary point of contact for complex enrollment datasets across key Global Enrollment Management and Student Success units, including Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Marketing. Uphold rigorous data standards by supporting the implementation of robust data management plans and policies to ensure accuracy and integrity. Contribute to strategic recruitment and enrollment goals through expert stewardship of NYU's critical data assets. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience in data governance, quality assurance, or data collection. The annual base salary range is USD $76,500.00 to USD $93,500.00.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of related experience in data governance, data management, quality assurance; and/or data collection, retrieval, analysis, predictive modeling, and reporting in an applied context
  • Excellent analytical and written/verbal communication skills
  • Excellent listening and observation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with databases and ad hoc data management tools
  • Experience using business intelligence tools (Tableau/Tableau Prep or equivalent)
  • Ability and willingness to quickly learn new systems and software

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Data Management or equivalent discipline
  • 2+ years Related experience in higher education, and particularly in data governance, data management, quality assurance and/or data collection, retrieval
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience with Slate, Oracle Peoplesoft Campus Solutions and Collibra
