Job Summary
Answer inquiries from individuals and families regarding entry into services, gathering initial information to triage referrals to regional Enrollment Specialists or direct them to appropriate service types. Enter demographic data into the enrollment platform, mail or email region-specific enrollment packets, and support specialists with engagement calls to ensure families submit required documents. Log call activity, notify specialists of new queue items, and maintain detailed knowledge of OPWDD services, processes, and community support systems. Maintain a positive demeanor while operating in a fast-paced environment with most of the day spent on the phone. This role supports Care Design NY and Partnership Solutions in connecting people with chosen supports to live a healthy, meaningful life.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills including verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Must be able to spend most of the day on the phone
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree
- 2+ years of experience working with people with IDD
