Job Summary
Provide comprehensive care to patients on the Medical/Oncology/Haematology and Palliative Care ward, working alongside clinicians to deliver acute medical and specialized cancer treatment including cytotoxic medication administration. Plan, deliver, and evaluate patient care while promoting effective communication and teamwork within the department. Provide patient education, act as a resource, and support or supervise staff and students as required. This permanent full-time or part-time role requires availability for all shifts across seven days. Applicants must hold AHPRA registration with recent acute inpatient experience.
Required Qualifications
- Registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse
- Recent acute inpatient experience
- Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction
- Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
- Availability for all shifts (AM / PM / Night Duty / Weekends) across 7 days
- Vaccination from Influenza
