Job Summary
Provide clinical and professional support to the multidisciplinary team under Registered Nurse supervision while delivering high-quality care to patients across hospitals, clinics, and services. Administer medications including IV treatments, apply current nursing theory for holistic care, and make sound decisions within your scope of practice. Demonstrate effective communication, exceptional customer service, and the ability to work independently or within a team environment. Maintain registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia and complete required medication administration education.
Required Qualifications
- Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse (without a notation)
- Successfully completed EN medication administration education
- Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant legislation
- Knowledge and ability to competently apply current nursing theory to provide holistic nursing care
- Ability to make sound decisions and accept responsibility for own practice
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Sound Computer literacy
- Acute nursing experience
- Successful completion of IV medication administration education
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children Check
- Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a health service industry
- Orthopaedic/Surgical experience
