Job Summary
Deliver recovery-focused, evidence-based mental health nursing care to individuals with acute and enduring psychiatric conditions, utilising comprehensive risk assessments, therapeutic interventions, and collaborative care planning. Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse across Mental Health and affiliated programs, assisting with clinical procedures and patient monitoring including IV medication administration. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with Ramsay policies and NMBA standards while contributing to a collaborative, patient-centred team environment. This casual role supports patients experiencing eating disorders, detoxification needs, and general mood disorders at Hollywood Private Hospital. Current AHPRA registration with IV qualification and 1-2 years of acute care experience are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse
- IV Qualified
- Minimum 1-2 years' recent experience working in an acute care environment
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong time management skills
- Commitment to patient safety
- Patient centred and trauma informed approach to delivery of care
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- Working-With-Children Check
- Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
