Enrolled Nurse

Enrolled Nurse at Lifeblood donor centre providing direct donor care in a part-time, rotating shift role. Responsibilities include greeting and interviewing potential donors, performing routine checks (blood pressure, haemoglobin), setting up and handling blood collection equipment, inserting/removing needles for whole blood, plasma, and platelets, coaching other team members, managing donor reactions, and assisting with post-donation follow-up. Requires Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration; ability to lift 9–22.7 kg and work a fortnightly rotating roster including weekends; strong focus on delivering an exceptional donor experience within a community-focused environment.
