Job Summary
Deliver safe and effective nursing care in accordance with care plans, administering medications, performing wound care, and monitoring vital signs for veterans in their homes. Assist with chronic disease management, personal care, and mobility while providing health education to promote client independence. Accurately document observations and escalate concerns to the clinical lead as needed. Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure coordinated care and build trusting relationships with clients and families. Requires current AHPRA registration, a driver's licence, and work rights in Australia. Flexible shifts including nights and weekends available with travel cost coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
- A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Must have work rights in Australia
- Flexibility to travel within the local area to support clients in their homes
- Availability to start immediately
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in community, aged care, or DVA nursing (highly regarded)
- A genuine passion for client-centered care and service excellence
- Excellent clinical judgement and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferably can work weekdays (morning/night shifts)
