Job Summary
Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care within your scope of practice, including administering vaccinations and medications, performing wound care, dressings, ECGs, and spirometry. Assist GPs with health assessments, chronic disease management, and care planning while supporting nurse-led clinics and preventative health initiatives. Educate patients on their conditions, treatment plans, and lifestyle choices, and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Ensure treatment rooms are clean, stocked, and compliant with infection control standards. Support accreditation, quality improvement, and workplace health and safety initiatives. Work alongside GPs and a multidisciplinary team in a busy general practice environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with medication administration endorsement
- Diploma of Nursing
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in general practice or primary care (highly regarded)
- Experience with immunisations, wound care and chronic disease management is advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and accurate clinical documentation
- A positive, team-focused attitude with a genuine passion for patient care
