Job Summary
Deliver safe and holistic care to individuals and families under the direction of a Registered Nurse, applying best clinical practice to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to exchange information regarding patient responses to treatment, coordinate care, and achieve optimum patient health through effective communication. Demonstrate application of clinical and workplace risk management principles while working across a 24/7 rotating roster in an acute hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma of Nursing degree or equivalent
- AHPRA registration
- minimum of 12 months post-graduate experience within an acute, hospital setting
- Experience in one or more of the following clinical areas: General Medical/Surgical, High Dependency/Cardiac, Rehabilitation
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster
- demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices
- A commitment to patient safety and quality improvements
- the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements
- undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
