Job Summary
Monitor and manage post-operative surgery patients and medical patients while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate closely with Visiting Medical Officers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care delivery aligned with hospital policies. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives while supporting patients and families through recovery and education. Permanent contracts available from 56 hours per fortnight with multiple positions open at John Flynn Private Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse
- Must be IV qualified and medication endorsed
- Minimum of 12 months acute experience
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
- Highly organised with a proven ability to manage emergency situations
- Demonstrates strong adaptability in dynamic situations
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- Working-With-Children Check
- Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
Desired Qualifications
- Cardiac & Surgical experience preferred but not essential
