Job Summary
Enrober Operator responsible for preparing, starting up, operating, and cleaning enrobing and chocolate-handling equipment. Monitor and adjust temperature, pressure, and time controls; start conveyors, machines, and pumps; maintain adequate melted chocolate levels and proper temper/coating quality. Observe gauges and product characteristics; collect and examine samples to confirm quality, color, content, consistency, and viscosity. Stop/reset equipment when malfunctions occur, clear jams, perform minor maintenance, and report issues promptly. Clean, wash, and sanitize equipment and work areas; transport supplies and products; assist with feeding product, packaging, labeling, and line needs. Follow safety rules, GMPs, and food-safety requirements to minimize scrap. Work with the line team to ensure clear understanding of instructions. Required to follow written/verbal instructions, work under pressure, visually inspect product, maintain safety around moving equipment, and demonstrate mechanical aptitude with a proactive problem-solving mindset. Interest in learning chocolate crystallization and tempering is required. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential. Ability to communicate respectfully with the team during stressful situations.
