Job Summary
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction in STEM, arts, sports, or tutoring programs for elementary through high school students. Prepare sessions using approved lesson plans or instructor-developed activities while fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment. Maintain active student participation and appropriate supervision throughout each instructional period. Communicate professionally with school personnel regarding attendance and program needs, and adhere to all site policies and safety protocols. Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled assignments. This opportunity involves 1–4 instructional hours per week for 8–10 weeks at partner schools or community locations, with compensation starting at $50+ per hour. Applicants must hold at least 60 college credits or equivalent experience and demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
Required Qualifications
- At least 60 completed college credits (or equivalent relevant professional experience where appropriate for the assignment)
- Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, instructing, mentoring, or leading youth programs
- Experience working with children or adolescents in schools, camps, community organizations, or similar settings
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Reliable, professional, and organized work habits
