Job Summary
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction in STEM, arts, sports, or tutoring sessions for elementary through high school students. Prepare for each session using approved lesson plans or instructor-developed activities while fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment. Maintain appropriate supervision and classroom management throughout, adhering to all school policies, safety expectations, and emergency protocols. Communicate professionally with designated school personnel and Concorde Education representatives regarding attendance and program needs. Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled instructional sessions, which typically range from one to four hours per week across rolling assignments lasting eight to ten weeks. Compensation starts at $50 per instructional hour, varying by assignment factors.
Required Qualifications
- At least 60 completed college credits (or equivalent relevant professional experience where appropriate for the assignment)
- Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, instructing, mentoring, or leading youth programs
- Experience working with children or adolescents in schools, camps, community organizations, or similar settings
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Reliable, professional, and organized work habits
- Successful completion of any legally required background review or clearance process
