Job Summary
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction in STEM, arts, sports, or academic programs for elementary through high school students. Prepare for sessions using approved lesson plans or instructor-developed activities while fostering an inclusive, supervised learning environment. Maintain classroom management, communicate professionally with school personnel, and adhere to all site policies and safety protocols. Schedule typically involves 1–4 instructional hours per week across 8–10 weeks at partner schools or community locations. Compensation starts at $50+ per hour, varying based on qualifications, experience, and assignment factors.
Required Qualifications
- At least 60 completed college credits (or equivalent relevant professional experience where appropriate for the assignment)
- Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, instructing, mentoring, or leading youth programs
- Experience working with children or adolescents in schools, camps, community organizations, or similar settings
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Reliable, professional, and organized work habits
