Job Summary
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction in STEM, arts, sports, or tutoring programs at partner schools or community locations. Prepare for each session using approved lesson plans or instructor-developed activities while fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment. Maintain active student participation and appropriate supervision throughout scheduled instructional hours, communicating professionally with school personnel regarding attendance and program needs. Arrive prepared and on time for assignments lasting 8–10 weeks, adhering to all site policies and safety protocols. Compensation starts at $50+ per hour, with rates varying based on qualifications and assignment specifics.
Required Qualifications
- At least 60 completed college credits (or equivalent relevant professional experience where appropriate for the assignment)
- Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, instructing, mentoring, or leading youth programs
- Experience working with children or adolescents in schools, camps, community organizations, or similar settings
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Reliable, professional, and organized work habits
