Job Summary
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction in STEM, arts, sports, or tutoring programs at partner schools or community locations. Prepare for each session using approved lesson plans or instructor-developed activities while fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment. Encourage active student participation, maintain appropriate supervision, and communicate professionally with school personnel regarding attendance and program needs. Arrive prepared and on time, following all site policies, safety expectations, and emergency protocols. Typically work 1–4 instructional hours per week after school for 8–10 weeks per assignment, with compensation starting at $50+ per hour. This opportunity serves Concorde Education's mission to inspire curiosity and lifelong learning across elementary through high school levels.
Required Qualifications
- At least 60 completed college credits (or equivalent relevant professional experience where appropriate for the assignment)
- Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, instructing, mentoring, or leading youth programs
- Experience working with children or adolescents in schools, camps, community organizations, or similar settings
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Reliable, professional, and organized work habits
