Job Summary
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction in STEM, arts, sports, or academic programs across elementary, middle, and high school settings. Prepare for sessions using approved lesson plans or instructor-developed activities while fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment. Maintain appropriate supervision and classroom management throughout each instructional period, adhering to school policies, safety expectations, and emergency protocols. Communicate professionally with designated school personnel and Concorde Education representatives regarding attendance, scheduling, and program needs. Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled sessions, typically ranging from one to four instructional hours per week for eight to ten weeks. Compensation starts at $50+ per hour, varying based on assignment factors.
Required Qualifications
- At least 60 completed college credits (or equivalent relevant professional experience where appropriate for the assignment)
- Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, instructing, mentoring, or leading youth programs
- Experience working with children or adolescents in schools, camps, community organizations, or similar settings
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Reliable, professional, and organized work habits
