Job Summary
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction across STEM, arts, sports, and academic programs for elementary through high school students. Prepare for sessions using approved lesson plans or instructor-developed activities while fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment. Maintain active supervision and classroom management throughout each instructional period, adapting to varying student ages and learning styles. Communicate professionally with school personnel regarding attendance and program needs, adhering to all site policies, safety expectations, and emergency protocols. Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled assignments of 1–4 hours per week, with compensation starting at $50+ per instructional hour.
Required Qualifications
- At least 60 completed college credits (or equivalent relevant professional experience where appropriate for the assignment)
- Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, instructing, mentoring, or leading youth programs
- Experience working with children or adolescents in schools, camps, community organizations, or similar settings
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Reliable, professional, and organized work habits
