Job Summary
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction in STEM, arts, sports, or academic programs across elementary, middle, and high school settings. Prepare for each session using approved lesson plans or instructor-developed activities while fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment. Maintain active supervision and adapt teaching styles to varying student ages and experience levels. Communicate professionally with school personnel regarding attendance and program needs, and adhere to all site policies, safety expectations, and emergency protocols. Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled instructional hours. This flexible role offers 1–4 hours per week for 8–10 weeks at partner schools or community locations, with compensation starting at $50+ per hour.
Required Qualifications
- At least 60 completed college credits (or equivalent relevant professional experience where appropriate for the assignment)
- Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, instructing, mentoring, or leading youth programs
- Experience working with children or adolescents in schools, camps, community organizations, or similar settings
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Reliable, professional, and organized work habits
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
