Job Summary
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction in STEM, arts, sports, or academic programs while preparing lessons and maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment. Foster active student participation, adapt to varying age groups, and communicate professionally with school personnel regarding attendance and scheduling. Arrive prepared and on time for sessions, adhering to all site policies, safety expectations, and emergency protocols. Assignments typically run 1–4 instructional hours per week for 8–10 weeks at partner schools or community locations, with compensation starting at $50+ per hour. This role supports Concorde Education's mission to inspire curiosity and lifelong learning across elementary through high school levels.
Required Qualifications
- At least 60 completed college credits (or equivalent relevant professional experience where appropriate for the assignment)
- Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, instructing, mentoring, or leading youth programs
- Experience working with children or adolescents in schools, camps, community organizations, or similar settings
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Reliable, professional, and organized work habits
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
