Job Summary
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction in STEM, arts, sports, or academic programs at partner schools or community locations. Prepare for each session using approved lesson plans or instructor-developed activities while fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment. Maintain appropriate supervision and classroom management throughout sessions, adapting instruction to varying student ages and learning styles. Communicate professionally with school personnel regarding attendance and program needs, and adhere to all site policies and emergency protocols. Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled instructional hours.
Required Qualifications
- At least 60 completed college credits (or equivalent relevant professional experience where appropriate for the assignment)
- Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, instructing, mentoring, or leading youth programs
- Experience working with children or adolescents in schools, camps, community organizations, or similar settings
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Reliable, professional, and organized work habits
