Job Summary
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction in STEM, arts, sports, or academic programs across elementary, middle, and high school settings. Prepare for each session using approved lesson plans or instructor-developed activities while fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment. Maintain active student participation and appropriate supervision throughout, adapting to varying ages and learning styles. Communicate professionally with school personnel regarding attendance and program needs, adhering to all site policies and emergency protocols. Schedule ranges from one to four instructional hours per week for eight to ten weeks, with compensation starting at $50 per hour. Submit an application to be considered for future independent contractor assignments contingent on school partner approval and background screening.
Required Qualifications
- At least 60 completed college credits (or equivalent relevant professional experience where appropriate for the assignment)
- Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, instructing, mentoring, or leading youth programs
- Experience working with children or adolescents in schools, camps, community organizations, or similar settings
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Reliable, professional, and organized work habits
