Job Summary
Assist instructors with daily classroom setup, break down, and supply organization while supporting instructional activities and hands-on projects. Supervise students to maintain a safe, structured environment, escorting them between campus locations and monitoring safety during class changes. Reinforce classroom expectations, model respectful behavior, and manage student absences by communicating promptly with the Program Manager. Perform program setup and cleanup prior to class starts. Record hours bi-monthly in Workday. Work Saturday mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm across multiple sessions from September through June.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Two years of clerical experience
- Ability to attend all class sessions, trainings and orientations
- Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of the program
Desired Qualifications
- Experience assisting instructors in an educational setting
- Experience working with neurodiverse learners
- Experience working with K-8 youth in an educational setting
