Job Summary
Enrichment Leader responsible for planning, organizing and implementing specialized memory enrichment activities for a small group of residents living with dementia, following an award-winning memory enrichment program curriculum. Lead engaging group activities in the therapeutic Whole Brain Fitness program, prepare materials, conduct relevant research, assist with cognitive assessments, track resident participation, and maintain compliance-related documentation. Part-time schedule Fri/Sat or Sun/Mon with a 8:30am–4:30pm shift; opportunity for growth and access to benefits typical for full-time staff. Requires an Associate’s degree with related coursework and at least 6 months of leading group activities with a special needs population; strong English communication and a professional, reliable, team-oriented attitude.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology or a related field of study.
- Minimum of 6 months leading group activities with a special needs population
- Ability to work the defined schedule for this position which may include weekends
- Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
- Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
- Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
