Enrichment Center Instructor

Conduct active treatment programs to enhance the lives of clients residing at The Hazelwood Center by working directly with individuals to promote independence and skill building. Format and implement client-specific lesson plans, author long-term goals and objectives, and plan events such as birthday parties, holiday gatherings, and cooking classes. Provide, schedule, and attend community outings while transporting clients to employment or volunteer opportunities. Complete vocational, pre-vocational, and ITA assessments, prepare in-services to teach staff, and clean and sanitize the Enrichment Center area. Coordinate with multiple departments regarding scheduling and activities, attend client meetings, and provide updates for meeting minutes. This full-time role involves Monday through Friday hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening or weekend work as needed.
