Job Summary
Enhancement Laborer responsible for small-scale landscaping operations and maintaining the grounds of commercial properties. Duties include plant removal and replanting, converting lawn areas to planters or vice versa, sidewalk replacement, laying mow strips, mulching, pruning and planting trees, operating lawn maintenance equipment (36" mower, gas-powered trimmer, blower, etc.), watering and fertilizing plants, weed, trim and blow activities, transporting materials between sites, and supporting related grounds tasks. Requires physical endurance, ability to operate various landscaping tools, and adherence to safety and PPE requirements. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old (21 if operating company provided vehicles)
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, edgers)
- Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and materials weighing up to 35 lbs; ability to push/pull up to 35 lbs while performing planting tasks
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments with exposure to dust, fumes, and loud noises
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, stand, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
- Able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Experience with operating a BrightView fleet vehicle as required by role (implicit in description)
