Job Summary
Provide direct support to program participants, ensuring their daily needs are met including personal hygiene, food preparation, and medication supervision. Implement complex Positive Behavior Support Plans and create personalized exercises to help clients develop healthier coping mechanisms. Assist participants with community outings and transport them using your own vehicle. Apply Positive Behavior Support principles to promote quality of life and provide de-escalation techniques during crisis situations. Interact with participants to offer informal counseling, problem-solve issues, and advocate for their rights and dignity. Maintain professional relationships with families, guardians, and other service providers while ensuring accurate documentation of all activities and incidents.
