Job Summary
Teach 11th-grade English sections across rotating Monday-through-Saturday blocks, grading assignments within one week, and providing extra help sessions. Manage student enrollments and class designs while attending weekly faculty meetings and serving on at least one standing committee. Lead two seasons of co-curricular activities, including driving students and supervising dormitory or evening duty shifts. Advise student groups, attend weekly lunches, and write individualized advisor letters. Prepare for the upcoming academic year with summer work and adhere to the school's diversity and inclusion tenets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- At least one year of relevant professional experience
- Authorized to work in the United States of America
- A Endorsement on your CT Driver's License
- General proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- General proficiency with Google Suite
- Internet browser skills
- Use of Canvas LMS
- Use of Veracross programs
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of five years of teaching experience
