Job Summary
The SEED Miami High School English Teacher is responsible for the academic, social, and emotional development of students, focusing on building relationships with families and colleagues. Key responsibilities include promoting academic programs, examining student assessment data, differentiating instruction, delivering engaging lessons, collaborating with staff, and maintaining records. The position requires a strong understanding of cultural diversity, integrity, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in their content area or a related content area
- Current FLDOE certification or statement of Eligibility in Grades 6-12 English subject area
- Drug & Level 2 Fingerprint screening
Desired Qualifications
- 2-4 years of teaching experience
- ESOL endorsement (if applicable)
