Job Summary
Plan, organize and present instruction and instructional environments that help students learn subject matter and skills; manage instructional time and student behavior; deliver clear, fluent instruction with appropriate pacing and demonstrations; monitor student performance and provide timely feedback; facilitate instruction aligned with curricular goals; interact effectively with students, colleagues, parents, and the community; perform non-instructional duties as assigned; requires licensure-qualifying education degree for NC; ability to use classroom tools and adapt to inclusive environments; physically capable to meet classroom demands.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in education or related area that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
