Job Summary
Plan, organize and present instruction and instructional environments that help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their educational and social development. Manage instructional time and student behavior, present lessons clearly, monitor student performance, provide feedback, and facilitate instruction while coordinating with teacher assistants and engaging with students, co-workers, parents, and the community. Requires licensure-eligible degree in education or related area for North Carolina licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in education or in a related area that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
