English Teacher

English Teacher responsible for delivering district-approved curriculum, developing lesson plans, administering assessments, and guiding student progress. Duties include supervising students in and out of the classroom, maintaining records and grades, communicating with parents, collaborating with grade-level teams, selecting instructional materials, administering standardized tests, and supporting professional development. Requires knowledge of current teaching methods, ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners, and effective use of technology and data to inform planning and instruction. Bachelor’s degree in Education or related discipline and NC state teaching certification required; Master’s degree preferred. Travel to district buildings and professional meetings as required.
