Job Summary
Autónomo English teacher needed in Madrid for after-school program delivering English classes to groups of children, with classes scheduled Mondays–Fridays 17:30-19:30 and weekends 11:00-13:00. Classes are small and interactive; planning is largely provided and teachers tailor activities to weekly topics. Responsibilities include using games, arts & crafts, singing, dancing, theatre, yoga, and baking to support language learning; fill out progress reports each trimester; optional growth opportunities in camps, workshops, or central office. Requirements: one year of experience working with children, native/bilingual English (C2 level), must be autonomous in Spain, must have permission to work in Spain, NSS, and a background check. Employment type CONTRACTOR with hourly gross wages of 16€/hour (Mon-Fri) and 21.4€/hour (weekends); flexible scheduling with a minimum 2-3 shifts per week. Location: Madrid, Spain; in-person remote option. Hint: suggested salary range is 16 EUR - 21 EUR PER_HOUR.
Required Qualifications
- Must be AUTÓNOMO in Spain
- One year experience teaching or working with children
- C2/native/bilingual level of English
- Permission to work in Spain (student visa, work permit, EU/Spanish resident, etc.) and Spanish Social Security Number (NSS) and background check
