English Teacher (9-12) (Start Date: 08/11/2026)

English Teacher for grades 9-12 in North Carolina. Responsibilities include differentiating instruction, planning and coordinating instruction, analyzing situations to determine options and decisions using data, using technology and classroom tools, managing instructional time and student behavior, motivating students, consulting with parents/teachers/administrators/community, monitoring student performance, and interacting within the educational environment. Additional duties include coordinating and directing the activities of a Teacher Assistant (if applicable) and performing related tasks. Emphasis on aligning instruction with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study and Common Core/Essential Standards; faculty collaboration to support student learning; use of diverse instructional methods and technology to maximize student learning; and ongoing professional development aligned with standards. Term of Employment: 10 Months, Salary: North Carolina Teacher Salary Scale + $2,000 LCPS Supplement.
