English Teacher - 4th Grade

4th Grade English Teacher at BASIS Ahwatukee. Prepare and facilitate subject- and grade-specific lesson plans, implement the BASIS Curriculum while tailoring topics to the subject, collaborate with BASIS Curriculum teachers to develop curriculum, tutor students to heighten academic trajectory, manage student behavior to foster achievement and responsibility, support non-instructional duties (Early Bird, Late Bird, lunch), supervise students, and maintain regular attendance. Requires a Bachelor's degree in the subject area (or 24+ credits in the subject with another degree), IVP fingerprint clearance, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in subject matter or education and 2+ years of teaching experience.
