English Speaking Registered Nurse (RN)

Delivers professional nursing care in the operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures. Functions as circulating nurse, assists the operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure, and helps with patient positioning. Prepares operating rooms and surgical instruments/equipment, applies evidence-based nursing practice, and adheres to ethics guidelines (ANA) to address age-specific and clinical patient needs. Supports both the patient and team during the perioperative period, including weekend call as needed. Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing and Illinois RN licensure; Day Shift at Mount Vernon, IL. Sign-on bonus available for eligible external candidates.
