Job Summary
Conduct personal care activities assisting patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation, transfers, dressing, and meal preparation. Perform housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, and changing bed linens. Provide patient-specific supportive care involving medication reminders, exercise assistance, incontinence care, and use of lifting equipment like gait belts and Hoyer lifts. Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments as needed. This role requires a CNA license or HHA Certificate with a Palm Beach County badge, a valid driver's license, CPR certification, and a Level 2 background screening.
Required Qualifications
- CNA license or HHA Certificate (HHAs - Must have badge from Palm Beach County - no exceptions!)
- Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
- Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, Voter's Registration, etc.)
- Auto Insurance
- CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
- TB or Chest X-ray
- Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
- Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with medications CEU
- 1 letter of recommendation
