Job Summary
Perform personal care activities assisting patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, ambulation, transfers, dressing, shaving, meal preparation, and accompanying patients on errands. Execute housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, and changing bed linens. Provide patient-specific care including hospice supportive care, medication reminders, exercise assistance, and incontinence care while utilizing lifting equipment like gait belts and Hoyer lifts. Maintain a valid driver's license, CPR certification, and a Level 2 background screening.
Required Qualifications
- CNA license or HHA Certificate
- Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
- Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, Voter's Registration, etc.)
- Auto Insurance
- CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
- TB or Chest X-ray
- Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
- Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with medications CEU
- 1 letter of recommendation
